This project is a remake of the Catch 22 cover I made for a university class. It includes a full shell cover with fold-in flaps. I also created the cover in a way that makes it appear as if it is made out of construction paper cutouts.
Here you can see the full spread of the cover laid out and also as a flat picture with fold lines. It includes a description and picture of the author, the cover, and the back cover.
I created this effect by getting pictures of construction paper and then editing the hue, brightness, and saturation of the papers to get the colors I wanted. I then used photoshop to cut the pieces into shapes to match my sketches. After this I arranged them together and added shadows. The letters were also created by me to look like cut outs.
